1. Agreement and operator
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between the person using the Services (“you”, “your” or “Learner”) and PRAGYASHAL PRIVATE LIMITED (“Company”, “EduMonk”, “we”, “us” or “our”). EduMonk and edumonk.in are brand references used by the Company.
These Terms apply to edumonk.in, the programme catalogue, enrolment and checkout, learner support, certificate verification, linked communications and any external learning platform through which we provide programme access (collectively, the “Services”). Additional terms displayed for a specific programme or third-party service form part of the agreement to the extent they apply.
2. Key definitions
- Certificate of Specialisation
- An EduMonk non-degree learning programme with its stated syllabus, practical work, assessment and completion credential.
- Programme
- The specific Certificate of Specialisation you purchase or access.
- Programme Page
- The relevant edumonk.in page describing the syllabus, outcomes, prerequisites, tools and current offer.
- External LMS
- A third-party learning-management system used to deliver content, assessments, projects, progress or learner communications.
- Learning Materials
- Videos, text, code, datasets, graphics, exercises, assessments, projects, templates, downloads and related EduMonk programme content.
- Certificate
- A Certificate of Specialisation issued after the applicable completion and integrity requirements are met.
3. Eligibility, authority and accounts
You must be legally capable of entering this agreement. If you are under eighteen, a parent or lawful guardian must review and accept these Terms, provide any required verifiable consent, make or authorise the purchase and supervise your use.
You must provide accurate, current information and keep your credentials confidential. One account is for one identified Learner unless we expressly approve another arrangement. You are responsible for activity performed through your account, except to the extent caused by our failure to use reasonable security safeguards.
Tell us promptly at support@edumonk.in if you suspect unauthorised access. We may require identity, payment or enrolment verification before changing account details, granting access or issuing a Certificate.
4. Programmes, standard offer and enrolment
EduMonk offers career-oriented technology programmes titled Certificate of Specialisation. The standard offer displayed across the current catalogue is ₹3,150 for a 2 Months learning journey with 30 Hours of planned learning. Programmes are online and designed for college students, graduates, working professionals, beginners and career switchers, subject to the prerequisites shown on each Programme Page.
Your order is an offer to purchase. Enrolment is confirmed only after successful payment verification and our confirmation or activation of access. A checkout acknowledgement alone does not require us to accept an order affected by fraud, technical error, incorrect pricing, legal restriction or programme unavailability; in such a case, we will provide an appropriate correction, alternative or payment reversal.
You are responsible for reviewing the Programme Page, syllabus, prerequisites, software and hardware needs, language, learning format and time commitment before paying. Programme outcomes depend on your participation, prior knowledge and completion of practical work.
5. Fees, taxes, payments and no-refund rule
The fee shown at checkout is payable in Indian rupees through the available payment method. The checkout will identify the amount due and any taxes or legally required charges. Your bank, card issuer, UPI provider or payment processor may apply its own terms or fees.
Payments may be processed by a third-party provider, including Razorpay where enabled. We do not control a bank's authorisation decision, outage or settlement time. You authorise the relevant provider to process the payment information necessary to complete the transaction.
Promotional codes must be used at checkout and cannot ordinarily be applied retrospectively. Differences between a valid promotion available at another time and the price you paid do not create a refund entitlement. You must not initiate a dishonest chargeback or falsely report an authorised payment as unauthorised.
Professional internship opportunities are eligibility- and availability-based. Training completion may lead to an internal eligibility assessment, but does not automatically result in allocation. Selection, duration, work, stipend and continued participation depend on performance, conduct, technical readiness, suitable project availability, business requirements and applicable policies. Placement assistance provides support and access to relevant opportunities where available; independent employers control interview and hiring decisions.
6. Programme access and the External LMS
After confirmed enrolment, we will provide or arrange access for the period and in the manner communicated for the Programme. The stated 2 Months describes the standard learning duration; it is not a guarantee of perpetual access. Any archive, extension, live session or downloadable resource is available only as stated in the Programme Page or learner communication.
We may use an External LMS. You may need to accept that provider's reasonable terms and privacy notice and comply with its security requirements. We remain responsible for the EduMonk Programme we sell, but do not own or control every feature or outage of the External LMS. We will use reasonable efforts to restore or arrange access when a platform issue materially affects learning.
You need a compatible device, supported browser, stable internet connection and any free or paid tools identified before enrolment. Unless the Programme Page expressly says otherwise, your devices, connectivity, cloud usage, software licences and optional third-party subscriptions are not included in the programme fee.
7. Learning-content licence and intellectual property
The Services, EduMonk name and logo, site design, Learning Materials, curriculum structure, graphics, code examples, recordings, assessments and Certificates are owned by or licensed to the Company and protected by intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms and payment of the applicable fee, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to access and use the Learning Materials solely for your own learning during the permitted access period.
You may make reasonable personal notes and retain downloads expressly marked as downloadable. You may not reproduce, sell, rent, publish, upload, translate, remove notices from, create a competing course from, systematically extract, record, scrape or distribute the Services or Learning Materials without written permission. No ownership right transfers to you.
“EduMonk”, “edumonk.in”, associated artwork and programme branding may not be used to suggest sponsorship, employment, accreditation or endorsement without prior written approval.
8. Acceptable use and academic integrity
You agree not to:
- share credentials or let another person complete learning or assessments in your name;
- copy answers, plagiarise, impersonate another Learner or misrepresent authorship;
- use automation or generative AI in an assessment where the instructions prohibit it, or conceal required AI use disclosures;
- circumvent access, security, rate limits, completion rules or certificate-verification controls;
- upload malware, probe systems, scrape content or interfere with another user or the Services;
- harass, threaten, discriminate against or expose personal information about another person;
- upload content you do not have the right to use or that is unlawful, deceptive or infringing; or
- use a Certificate, learner account or EduMonk mark fraudulently.
We may use similarity checks, assessment review and other proportionate integrity measures. Suspected violations may lead to resubmission, withholding or revocation of a Certificate, restricted access or account termination after a fair review appropriate to the circumstances.
9. Learner projects, submissions and feedback
You retain ownership of original intellectual property in projects, code, answers and other content you create and submit (“Learner Work”), subject to any rights in tools, templates, starter code, datasets or third-party material incorporated into it.
You grant the Company and its processors a limited, worldwide licence to host, copy, evaluate, secure and otherwise use Learner Work as necessary to deliver the Programme, check academic integrity, provide feedback, issue credentials, operate backups and comply with law. This licence lasts only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.
We will seek separate permission before publicly featuring identifiable Learner Work as a testimonial, case study or marketing example. If you voluntarily send general ideas or product feedback, you permit us to use that feedback without payment or confidentiality obligation, but not to publish your personal data contrary to our Privacy Policy.
10. Assessments, completion and Certificates
A Certificate is earned, not purchased. You must satisfy the completion, assessment, project, identity and integrity requirements communicated for the Programme. We may require resubmission or withhold a Certificate where work is incomplete, not original, cannot be verified or violates these Terms.
An EduMonk Certificate of Specialisation confirms completion of the identified non-degree programme. It is not a university degree, diploma, professional licence, statutory qualification or government accreditation unless the Programme Page expressly and accurately states otherwise.
After successful completion, eligible Learners receive a soft-copy Certificate of Specialisation and programme-specific Letter of Recommendation. Hard copies of both documents are dispatched by post to the address recorded for the Learner. You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate and serviceable postal address before dispatch. Delivery timing depends on destination and the postal or courier network; we will provide reasonable support if a shipment is delayed, returned or damaged.
Certificate and Letter of Recommendation samples shown on a Programme Page illustrate the document format. Final documents are personalised from the completed Learner record and may contain updated layout, wording, dates, signatures, identifiers or security features without reducing the nature of the promised completion documents.
We may operate a public verification page showing limited credential data. We may correct a clerical error or revoke a Certificate obtained through fraud, impersonation, plagiarism or material breach. Before revocation, we will ordinarily give the affected Learner a reasonable opportunity to respond unless urgent fraud or safety concerns require immediate restriction.
11. Communications, consent and privacy
You agree that we may send transactional communications necessary to operate your account, payment, Programme, assessment, Certificate, security and support. We may send optional marketing only as permitted by law, and you can unsubscribe without losing essential service messages.
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how it is used, shared, protected and retained, including when an External LMS and payment provider are involved.
12. Availability, updates and programme changes
We work to keep the Services available and the syllabus current, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, security work, internet conditions, third-party failures or events outside reasonable control may cause temporary disruption.
Technology changes quickly. We may update instructors, examples, tools, lesson order, assessment format or Learning Materials where the change preserves or improves the core learning outcomes. If we cancel or make a material adverse change to a paid Programme before substantial access is provided, we will offer an appropriate remedy consistent with applicable law and our No Refund Policy.
Dates for live events, support windows and estimated completion are subject to reasonable rescheduling. We will provide notice of a material change through the site, registered email or learner platform.
13. Suspension, termination and effect
You may stop using the Services at any time, but doing so does not itself create a refund. We may temporarily restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, suspected fraud, payment reversal, unlawful conduct, material or repeated breach, infringement, academic dishonesty or risk to other users or the Services.
Where appropriate, we will explain the concern and allow a reasonable opportunity to correct or appeal it. Immediate action may be taken where delay could cause harm, compromise security, facilitate fraud or breach law.
On termination, your licence to access the Learning Materials ends. Provisions intended by their nature to continue—including payment obligations, intellectual property, credential integrity, disclaimers, liability, dispute and record-keeping terms—survive.
14. Disclaimers and third-party services
The Services are educational and informational. To the maximum extent permitted by law, they are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that every example will fit your particular system, that third-party tools will remain free or unchanged, or that the Services will meet an unstated personal objective.
Technology exercises can affect files, cloud resources or computing environments. Follow instructions, use test data and maintain backups. You remain responsible for how you apply programme content in production, employment, financial, legal, medical, safety-critical or other real-world contexts.
Third-party links, tools, repositories, cloud platforms, payment services and the External LMS may be governed by separate terms. We are not responsible for independent third-party content or conduct, but this does not limit our responsibilities for the EduMonk Services under applicable law.
15. Limitation of liability and indemnity
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct or other non-waivable consumer rights.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made. Where our liability may lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability arising from a Programme will not exceed the amount you paid for that Programme during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You will be responsible for direct losses and third-party claims caused by your unlawful use of the Services, infringement of another person's rights, fraudulent credential use or deliberate material breach of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by the Company or where applicable law does not permit it.
16. Governing law, complaints and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting formal proceedings, please email support@edumonk.in with your registered contact details, programme, order or certificate ID, a clear description of the issue and the remedy requested. We will acknowledge and address consumer grievances within the time required by applicable law.
If the matter is not resolved, the parties should first attempt good-faith resolution or mutually agreed mediation. Subject to non-waivable rights, courts and tribunals having lawful jurisdiction over the Company and the dispute may hear the matter.
17. Changes, general terms and contact
We may amend these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, security, providers or law. The updated version applies from the stated effective date. We will provide additional notice for material changes where required; changes will not retroactively remove an accrued non-waivable right.
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or this agreement without our written consent. We may transfer this agreement as part of a lawful corporate reorganisation or business transfer, with appropriate notice and without reducing your statutory rights.
These Terms, the Programme Page, the Privacy Policy, the No Refund Policy and any applicable checkout terms form the agreement for the Services and replace prior discussions about the same subject. If terms conflict, a specific written term agreed for your order controls over a general term, followed by these Terms and then general site content.
